Diesel or Electric or LPG?
What fuel type should be preferred in forklifts?

One of the most important points to consider when choosing a forklift is the power type of the forklift truck. There are three types of forklifts commonly used in the forklift market. Diesel, Electric and LPG. Should we buy diesel or electric or lpg? There are many criteria to give a correct answer to this question.
LPG forklifts have been used for many years in places where smoke is not desired due to the high exhaust emission of diesel forklifts. LPG forklifts have been replaced by electric forklifts in recent years due to the development of the capabilities of electric forklifts over the years, their comfortable use in open areas and the absence of exhaust emissions. In addition, the reasons such as the tank change of the forklift whose LPG is over, it takes time, and it is difficult to work in cold weather can be considered among the disadvantages of LPG forklifts. Due to the decrease in the use of LPG forklifts, the price decrease may be a reason for preference for users who do not use much daily.
If we talk about the advantages of electric forklifts, it is preferred over diesel and LPG forklifts in many ways due to its quietness, low fuel cost compared to diesel and LPG, environmentally friendly, lack of exhaust gas, easy maintenance because of low mechanical parts. Electric forklifts will be economically affordable for users with high daily forklift usage. Because electricity is economical compared to diesel and LPG. In terms of cost, it will not be reasonable for users with less than 2-3 hours of daily forklift use to prefer electric forklifts. Because whether it is used or not, the battery has a lifetime and will complete its life when the time comes.
One of the disadvantages of electric forklifts is that they have a limited use of 8 hours. Depending on the use of the machine, the battery of the forklift, which is discharged in approximately 8 hours, must be charged. This is not the case with diesel forklifts. It can work uninterrupted as long as fuel is added. Electric forklifts are not preferred in high-tonnage forklifts due to the disadvantage of being dependent to the battery.
